Terms & Conditions

Diagnostics - MacTech Guam offers FREE DIAGNOSTICS as well as a NO FIX NO PAY POLICY. During the diagnostic process of any device, some of the steps taken can indirectly solve the issue that the device was submitted for. In this event, MacTech Guam WILL assess the normal Flat Rate Service Charge of $80.00.

 

Liquid Damage Diagnostics - MacTech Guam assesses an $80.00 fee upon intake of liquid damaged devices for cleanup services. MacTech Guam will give the best efforts to clean and remove corrosion of liquid damaged parts. However, due to the nature of corrosion, future performance may be affected. 

 

Liquid Damage Repairs - MacTech Guam CANNOT guarantee that liquid damaged devices will remain functional after repair or otherwise; this will not be covered under warranty. 

 

Warranty - MacTech Guam offers a 90 DAY WARRANTY. There is NO WARRANTY on Liquid Damage Repairs. Warranty will not be honored if the device was damaged post-repair due to customer negligence, mishandling, or tampering of parts and services.  

 

Payment - MacTech Guam accepts payment via cash, card (excluding American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay, and approved business checks. We DO NOT accept any foreign currencies, personal checks, pay orders, payment plans, or any payment apps (excluding PayPal). Payment is due upon pickup of devices or down payments for special orders. 

 

45-Day Policy - Any devices not collected after 45 days from the date stated above (unless held for further diagnostics and/or repairs) shall be deemed ABANDONED by the owner and shall be claimed as property of MacTech Guam. Before any devices are claimed, MacTech Guam shall make all necessary attempts to contact the customer via the contact information provided regarding completion of work, changes of scope in work, and/or repair costs. If contact is unavailable using the contact information provided, it shall be the customer's responsibility to contact MacTech Guam. 

 

Withdrawals -  If a customer withdraws services while the device is in a state of disrepair, MacTech Guam may not be able to and will not be held liable to returning the device in the condition it was received as some devices are not designed to be reassembled without the use of additional materials and/or parts.  

 

Advanced Repair Services - MacTech Guam is affiliated with multiple business partners. Devices submitted to MacTech Guam may be taken to an iRepair workshop for repairs. Some repairs may need to be sent off for advanced work at our off-island facility. In this event, upon customer approval, turnaround times may increase 3-4 weeks for completion. 


Data Security and Privacy - MacTech Guam values customer privacy and security of their data. Any data that is recovered or collected will not be held, shared, or released without the expressed consent of the original owner unless required by law.
